Your data, handled with care
Security is part of how we build every product. Here is how vSynco, our first product, protects your data.
Access that matches your own
- Each person connects their own Salesforce account and their Google or Microsoft account, using the secure sign-in each service provides.
- vSynco acts as that person, with exactly their permissions. It cannot see or change anything they could not.
- We never see or store your Salesforce, Google or Microsoft passwords.
- Admins can mirror their Salesforce sharing model so vSynco only writes to records a user is allowed to change.
Encrypted credentials
- The credentials that let vSynco sync on your behalf are encrypted before they are stored.
- Disconnecting an account in vSynco stops syncing straight away and deletes the access vSynco stored. You can also remove vSynco from your Salesforce, Google or Microsoft account settings at any time.
Sync logs, under your control
- Sync logs record what each run did, so you can see exactly what changed. They include event, attendee and contact details by design.
- Logs are encrypted, only ever travel over encrypted connections, and are automatically deleted after 365 days.
- You see your own logs. Nobody else at your company or ours does unless you allow it.
- You can delete a sync log yourself at any time with the Clear log button when viewing it. Clearing a log never affects your synced records or the sync itself.
Support access only when you grant it
- Our support team has no access to your sync logs by default.
- An admin can grant access for one person or the whole organisation, for a fixed period of up to a week.
- Access always expires, can be revoked at any time, and every log support opens is recorded.
Infrastructure
- vSynco is hosted in secure, enterprise-grade data centres.
- All traffic to and from vSynco is encrypted in transit, and stored data is encrypted at rest.
- Our infrastructure is managed as code, so every change is reviewed and repeatable.
